Simon The Sorcerer 1
(1993 Adventuresoft)

Help Simon, a quintessential 90's teenager, on his quest to become a wizard. Simon, who is unwittingly zapped into the magical world, must save Calypso, the grand high wizard from the hands of evil Sordid.

The interface of the game closely resembles the classic LucasArts icon system. The plot also has some similarities to the LucasArts' first Monkey Island game. The graphics of Simon the Sorcerer is probably one of the finest examples of pixel art.

Difficult but fair puzzles, witty dialogues, and inimitable self-effacing humor and charm are the games' hallmarks. Overall, a severely underrated game that belongs on everyone's shelf.
